Visiting a church can be a nerve-wracking experience, particularly if you’re new to a community. How do we find a place we fit in? Will I know where to sit? What will my children do during the service?
Here at First United Methodist, we have a team of friendly folks ready to make your experience warm and welcoming enough that you can focus on worship. At the 8:30, 9:00, 10:00 and 11:00 am services, our Hospitality Team members (they’re the ones wearing badges that say “Hospitality Team”) are waiting to answer any question you might have, and help you find your way through the church. Before the services, you can find them standing at the two “front door” entrances that face Highway 119. Frankly, while not everyone is on the Hospitality Team, ask anyone you see in the hall for help and you’ll quickly get a sense of the spirit in this place.
Also, while we are a dynamic and growing church, our staff and pastors pride themselves on being accessible. Visit the staff page to get email contacts for our pastors, ministry directors, and administrative personnel.
We are here to help, even if that means finding you a church that better meets your needs. Our hope is that everyone who comes in contact with our church would find their way into a servant ministry, warm fellowship, and life-changing worship. Our prayer is that we can be that place for you, but if we’re not, we want to help in any way we can to find you a church home.
