Adult ministries at First United Methodist of Alabaster seek to fully involve every individual and provide a place to nurture spiritual growth and Christian development. These ministries exist to develop discipleship, grow fellowship within the body of Christ, and encourage outreach to our community and our world.
Diverse opportunities to meet the needs of our adult congregation are offered through Christian Education, Fellowship, and Missions including Sunday School classes, Bible studies, and small groups.
Adult Sunday School
Sunday School classes are offered for all ages on Sunday mornings at 9:45 am, between the 8:30 and 11:00 am Worship Services. We welcome you to visit any one of the variety of classes.
A great way to get involved with our senior adults community is to join us for “Keenagers,” the second Tuesday of each month at 11am in the Fellowship Hall. We enjoy a program, followed by a community meal. It is always a wonderful time of fellowship and discussion, and we are always looking for a new face!
United Methodist Women
United Methodist Women is a mission organization whose members give their time and effort through prayer, service, meetings and monetary gifts in response to God’s calling.
