Seek God. Love people. live In Hope.

God created each of us to be in sacred relationships with Him and the people around us. He desires for us to face each day, not in fear of what could go wrong, but in hope - knowing that we will never face a challenge alone. We know all of this is true because of the life, death, and resurrection of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

The First United Methodist Church of Alabaster is people just like you find the life that God intends for them. Join us for worship, study, community, and service. Find the life that you have been yearning for.

We are committed to promoting safety among our congregation, staff, and community, considering data and guidance from community authorities. We will continue to communicate as clearly as possible changing trends and updates to our phases and plans.

Our Promise to you.

We believe every Christian is called into an intimate relationship with God, faithful relationships with other Christians, and Christ-like service to the world. There are certain beliefs that unite us as a congregation. But we do not mandate that everyone agree on every point.

If you choose to worship, study, or serve with us,

we will do our best to live up to our calling to love you as we love ourselves.
